We define &#8220;culture&#8221; primarily as identifying group specifics, based on language, religion, race, and ethnicity. It can be practiced in organizations, communities, countries, and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\">At JCC, cultural equity is a win-win position that benefits society at large. It is not a group-against-group polarizing or inherently anti-mainstream pursuit. The goal is for all the thrive both individually and collectively. It implies the opposite of a them-versus-us perspective. Whereas the basic equality of all members of humanity is a given, cultural equity reflects an understanding of the reality of social disparities between groups. Rather than one-size-fits-all solutions, it calls for nuanced ways to redress such inter-group imbalances. This requires a deep understanding of the issues and the ability to credibly and impartially negotiate a pluralist future. At JCC, we are experts at making this operational. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\">Through training, teaching, publishing, advocacy, coaching, public speaking, and community organizing, JJC helps build \u201cecological\u201d relations between traditional cultural groups.
