Race Unity Day – June 15

Race Unity Day is observed annually on the second Sunday of June. Since 1957, it has been celebrated to overcome the erroneous notion that humans are divided into exclusive entities called ‘races’ or that there is a link between physical traits and inner qualities. Race Unity Day joyously affirms the universality of humanity as the basis for a peaceful, prosperous, and harmonious society.
